Congratulations to our DECA students who participated in the DECA State Leadership Conference in Virginia Beach. William Fleming was well represented and our DECA Chapter received the following awards: Fortune 500, Thrive Academy, Community Service, Preferred Chapter, Super Star Chapter, Virginia DECA Day, and the School Based Enterprise Gold Certification. Shamar Hoke was a State finalist for the Sports Marketing Category and received an award for having the high score on his role play. Congratulations Shamar! And how about the club's advisor, Mrs. Sharon Lawrence, who received the Outstanding Advisor Award!! Great job to all the DECA Colonels!

Graduating Seniors from Roanoke City Public Schools can attend Virginia Western Community College and have their tuition paid. For full details about CCAP, click here.
Student Financial Obligations
A friendly reminder that all student financial obligations (class fees, club dues, library fines, library books, textbooks, etc.) must be current by March 7th. Unpaid obligations may result in non-participation of school activities.
Students who wish to park on campus must obtain a Student Parking Permit. Cost of permit is $25.00 for half semester, and $50.00 for the year. Students who park on campus without a William Fleming High School Parking Permit, will have their vehicle ticketed and/or towed at owner's expense. If you wish to purchase a parking permit, applications are available in the main office.
